U.S.-Pakistan Women’s Council Paklaunch Accelerator for Women Entrepreneurs
BACKGROUND
The U.S.-Pakistan Women’s Council aims to increase the volume of mid-to late-stage entrepreneurs focused on U.S.-Pakistan job creation through mentorship, pitch competitions, and enhanced industry awareness for women entrepreneurs.
The Paklaunch-Council accelerator for women entrepreneurs is a foundational step towards this goal and aims to increase the pipeline of investment ready entrepreneurs, while enabling early-stage entrepreneurs to gain skills, networks, and information critical to launching and scaling companies, graduating to late-stage companies.
The program will consist of six one-hour webinars, office hours, and pitch competitions.
OBJECTIVES
The Paklaunch-Council Accelerator for Women Entrepreneurs aims to achieve the following:
1. Enable at least 250 women entrepreneurs in Pakistan to gain access to speed mentorship and virtual office hours with leading entrepreneurs, investors, and incubators in the United States and Pakistan.
2. Facilitate participation for those women entrepreneurs to participate in a monthly speaker’s program to learn from leading experts in the United States.
